And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

2 Corinthians 9:8

Follow Christ

More than once in the New Testament Paul encourages the believers to follow him. In 1 Corinthians 4:16 he says, “Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.” Paul was able to do that because he was following Christ. He knew he was living his life in such a way that he could, with clear conscience, tell people to follow him, and know that if they did, they would be honoring Christ. Wow! What about you. What about me? Are we conscious of the fact that as we live our lives every day that somebody IS following us? What kind of example are we to others? Can we actually exhort people to follow us because we are doing right and pleasing God with our lives? What a responsibility we have to God and others. Let’s strive to live such lives that we can say with Paul, “follow me”.
