And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

2 Corinthians 9:8

Are you changing?

Most everyone if given the opportunity to change something about themselves or their circumstances would do so.  Isn’t it wonderful that God gives us the opportunity to change in the spiritual realm?  II Corinthians 3:18 gives us some important information on how to grow and change spiritually.  The passage says, But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.  The “open face beholding” means as we honestly look into God’s Word (the glass) we see two main things.  The first thing we see if we are honestly looking is the “glory of the Lord.”  As we get a glimpse of God’s glory, then we automatically get a clear picture of our sinfulness.  The reason many so called Christians live so much like the unsaved world is because they have never really gotten a real glimpse of God’s glory.  As we honestly look into God’s Word, we will see the glory of God and our sinfulness too.  If we will allow God’s spirit, that is in us if we are saved, He will start changing us into the image of Jesus Christ.  We will never be all that Christ is of course, but if we are regularly walking with the Lord, and honestly looking into the mirror of God’s Word, then our lives will start changing.  Many things in nature are changing now, and you and I need to be changing too.  Is your life changing into the image of Jesus Christ?  If not, why not start honestly looking into the glass of God Word, and let the Spirit of the Lord start changing you?  You will like the changes He makes.
