Isn't it wonderful to know that there is hope in our hopeless world?

Our Blessed Hope

Our spring revival with Dr. Bob Shelton was an immense blessing to all who attended.  It is encouraging to be in a position to see what The Lord has told us would come to pass, come to pass.  How should we respond to all this?  We should be doing as Titus 2:13-14 tells us to do: 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people [a peculiar people is a people for His own possession], zealous of good works.”  Are you part of the redeemed that verse 14 is talking about?  If so, are you looking for your Lord to come and zealous [eager] to do good works?  Isn’t it wonderful to know that there is hope in our hopeless world?  What a privilege it is to enjoy light in dark days!  Dr. Shelton said, “We may read the newspapers and find out what is happening, but we must read the Bible to find out what is going on.”  I hope you understand what is ‘going on’ and respond accordingly as God’s Word tells you to.
