Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

More than we asked or thought

On May 16, my wife and I and three men from church went to a Pella Window and Door sale in Greensboro, NC looking for a possible ‘good deal’ on some windows for our new facility.  Our Architect had given us the specifications for what we needed.  There was one window among the hundreds there that fit our specifications.  My first thought was that we had struck out on finding a good deal.  I then asked Duane Capps, the gentleman in charge, if there was anything that we might be able to use in our new facility.  He said, “Follow me”.  He took us to a corner of the building where some very nice doors were stored.  There were 4 sets of 7 foot tall double doors and 4 sets of 7 foot tall single doors.  They were still wrapped up.  A university in NC had made a mistake and double ordered the doors for their building.  God gave us all of these brand new doors which were valued at $18,567.00 for $2140.00.  Once again God proved to us that Ephesians 3:20 is true.  The passage says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”.  It is our desire here at GMBC to experience verse 20 and do verse 21 which says, “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”   Don’t you think it is about time that you get as close as you can to God and His work [a front row seat preferably] so you can see first hand all that God is going to do?
