And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

2 Corinthians 9:8

Change is good!

We are in the midst of change.  The leaves are changing, the weather is changing and winter is coming on.  Change is good!  When Jesus Christ comes into a life, things change.  A great example is found in Mark 5 in the life of the demoniac of Gadara.  Jesus cast the demons out of him which was bad news for the pigs.  [See Mark 5:13]   After Christ cast the demons out of the demoniac and Christ’s spirit moved into his life, things changed.  His activities changed—he was found sitting still instead of running through the graveyard; His thinking changed—he was in his right mind rather than going crazy; His dress changed—he put on clothes rather than being mostly naked; his heart attitude changed—he wanted to be near Christ and for Christ to stay near to him.  The purpose of the demoniac’s life changed too.  Christ told him in Mark 5:19 to “Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.”  The bewildered demoniac changed into a blessed disciple of our Lord and indeed he did make an impact on his homeland.  The scriptures said in Mark 5:20, “and all men did marvel”.  What a testimony!  When God comes into a person’s life, things change.  Have things changed in your life?  Are you able to tell your family and friends what great things God has done for you?  Are folks marveling at the change they see in you?  I hope so.
